Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Migration Packages
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is here and will take over in July 2023!
You’ll find a number of packages below to help you set up and get ready for the migration.
All businesses need to be prepared and take action now.
GA4 Check-up Package
This package is for:
People with a simple website who have, or will accept the Google best effort switch from Universal Analytics to GA4.
It is assumed that:
- Universal Google Analytics has been used
- The Google switch over has been activated
- The user wants to understand the location of their reports
Elements within the package are:
- An upfront client opportunity to brief us on any particular areas of concern
- A brief check-up that traffic is being recorded within GA4 as expected
- A recorded 45 minute Zoom meeting to show you:
- Where you can see evidence of activity on your website
- Answer any questions
Assumptions
- This package will not:
- Migrate existing custom reports from existing analytics
- Deal with eCommerce or conversion tracking
- Fix faults with Analytics, install Google Tag Manager or create a standard dashboard in Looker Studio
Cost: £285 + VAT
Package 1. GA4 Standard Active Website
This package is for:
Businesses with a simple WordPress website who want to control the switch from Universal Analytics to GA4 and monitor website traffic.
We will require admin access to your website to install plugins as well as access to Analytics and Google Tag Manager (if currently used).
Elements within the package are:
- Install tracking via Google Tag Manager
- Configure and test Google Tag Manager
- Set up GA4 page views
- Dashboard Reports (in Google Looker Studio). These are available to present online, or downloadable as PDF documents. Report page page views by date, with date selector, and optional selector of channel, source and medium
- Examine performance as seen by existing Analytics
- A recorded 45-minute Zoom meeting with with you
A web developer may be needed to assist in removing the Universal Analytics code and implementing GDPR “consent mode” (if required).
This package will not:
- Migrate existing custom reports from existing analytics
- Deal with eCommerce or conversion tracking
- Correct faults from existing Analytics unless these are specifically identified and agreed as being included up front
- Attempt to achieve exactly comparable numbers for both Universal Analytics and GA4
- Carry out substantial work with custom plugins that interface to Google Analytics
Cost: £585 + VAT
Package 2. GA4 Standard Plus
This package is for:
People with a WordPress website who want to control the switch from Universal Analytics to GA4. It includes the elements in the standard package and more as it is intended for those doing more active digital marketing.
The package includes:
- Install tracking via Google Tag Manager
- Configure and test Google Tag Manager
- Set up GA4 page views, events and conversions
- Dashboard Reports (in Google Looker Studio) These are available to present online, or downloadable as a PDF document.
- Report page page views by date, with date selector, and optional selector of channel, source, medium.
- Conversions vs channels.
- Examine performance as seen by existing Analytics & hold recorded 45 minute Zoom meeting with you to discuss.
This package includes up to 5 Conversions for tracking:
- Contact form completion
- Lead magnet or booking completion
- Phone (not a 3rd party service – just a link ) and email clicks
- Social media conversion for 2 social media channels
This package will not:
- Migrate existing custom reports from existing analytics
- Deal with eCommerce
- Correct faults from existing Analytics unless these are specifically identified and agreed as being included up front
- Attempt to achieve exactly comparable numbers for both Universal Analytics and GA4
Cost: £850 + VAT
