Shortlisted for Two Awards at the Thames Valley Business and Community Awards 2022
We recently attended the Thames Valley Business and Community Awards Ceremony in Reading, Berkshire and were delighted to have been shortlisted for two business awards. Unfortunately we were up against some very strong competition and didn’t come away with a win but are thrilled to have made it to the shortlist stage and invited to attend the awards evening.
This awards ceremony recognised the achievements of businesses, charities, and individuals that have made an outstanding contribution in the Thames Valley region.
The annual awards ceremony took place at the Hilton Hotel in Reading on the 30th of November and our founder Vicky and Marketing Coordinator Hannah were thrilled to represent White Communications.
Being nominated and then shortlisted is a very exciting achievement for us and the recognition and acknowledgement is deeply appreciated by the whole team.
With over 1295 businesses nominated, we were so delighted to be shortlisted for 2 awards: SME of the Year and Female Entrepreneur of the Year.
Our 2022 highlights
Back in June we won the award for ‘Most Promising New Business’ at the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Awards and we were delighted to be recognised for our sustainable growth and commercial success.
In September we welcomed Hannah Bentley to the team as our new Marketing Assistant who is now fully integrated into the team and getting stuck in on our client social media campaigns and website support projects. We are excited to have her join us as she develops her Marketing knowledge whilst completing her degree in Business Management & Marketing.
In October we launched our sister company to White Communications – Appetite. Appetite is a full-service marketing agency for restaurants helping to promote their brand, get found online, increase covers, and grow. Right now we are working on our 2023 marketing plans and ensuring all our clients are approaching January with the best marketing campaigns to help grow their business.
